Life in Rome
Rome was the Disneyland of the ancient world. It had many attractions, including the majestic temples with their tall pillars that were unique to Rome, the bustling open-air markets selling and trading everything from glass to gold to wheat to silk. The city was also full of amphitheatres, forums, and public baths, where you would relax after a hard month's work.
Life for the Wealthy
Wealthy Romans had a life of luxury. Their homes had servants quarters, a small bathroom with a squatting toilet that piped water into the sewers, and a walled garden. Some houses even had an
